NAA Announces Two Diversity & Inclusion Opportunites
The National Apartment Association (NAA) and the NAA Education Institute (NAAEI) are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce in the rental housing industry by developing programs and opportunities for advancement.
Two opportunities are now available to help create diverse and inclusive workplace environments, develop leaders, and celebrate those advancing diversity and inclusivity within their organizations.
Alex Jackiw, CAPS, CPM, former NAA Chair/NAAEI President, created this scholarship to increase diversity and inclusion in the rental housing profession by offering CAM and CAPS credentials to members of a racial/ethnic minority group, LGBTQ, a person with a disability, or a former or serving member of the military.
All applications are due by Friday, July 31, 2020.
The Innovation in Diversity & Inclusion (IDI) Grant is designed to encourage and support member associations, property management firms, supplier partners, and related organizations with innovative ideas that advance diversity and inclusion. This grant will be awarded to organizations that reflect NAA’s dedication to encouraging a workforce environment that is inclusive, supportive, and rich in diversity by funding initiatives in Culture Diversity and Awareness in Education, Leadership Programs, or Diversity & Inclusion Projects.
All applications are due by Monday, August 31, 2020.
