Atlanta Apartment Association Appoints Julie M. Anderson, CAE as New President

Atlanta, GA — June 2, 2025— The Atlanta Apartment Association, trade association for Atlanta’s multifamily housing industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie M. Anderson, CAE as its new President, effective June, 1st 2025. 

With more than 20 years of leadership experience in association management, Anderson brings a proven track record of driving strategic growth, fostering collaboration, and advocating for policy and standards that elevate the industry. As President, she will guide the association’s vision to position rental housing as a valued and essential partner in advancing the well-being of our communities and further advance its mission to support and elevate the interests of our members in the rental housing industry.

Anderson joined the Association last year as Vice President of Operations and Executive Director of the Georgia Apartment Association. She previously spent 17 years with the American College of Rheumatology, advancing through a range of roles that ultimately led to leadership positions as Senior Director of Governance and Executive Director of the International League of Associations.  She is recognized for exceptional leadership among peers at the Georgia Society of Association Executives, where she served on the Board of Directors and chaired its Foundation.
