A Hands-On Workshop - 8 AM - 4 PM

This full-day workshop offers practical, actionable advice for mid-level managers and supervisors who are eager to inspire their teams to deliver their best performance. We’ll look at grooming your still-green personnel through a modern spin on mentoring, including how to build productive relationships quickly; how to connect with remote team members; and how to design a support network where on-site teams lift each other up. Additionally, we’ll dive into presentation skills and boost your confidence at leading training sessions and meetings, whether you are speaking to five or fifty people. Last, we’ll look at powerful ways to make a positive impact on your team members’ satisfaction and engagement, so they are motivated to perform. Come prepared to participate in this high-energy session loaded with hands-on practice and exploration.

Together we’ll explore:

  • Preparing appropriately for meetings both small and large that inform, enlighten, and entertain
  • Structuring events to actively involve your attendees (rather than simply lecturing to them.)
  • Enhancing your presentations with appropriate and interesting use of audiovisuals
  • Meeting management techniques to ensure the best possible learning environment for all participants, including the most challenging personality types
  • Conducting effective “virtual meetings” via web conference
  • Implementing a modern approach to mentoring to expand your team members’ knowledge and skills, and reduce your employee attrition
  • How to reach the sweet spot of employee engagement where high performance meets high employee satisfaction
  • Secrets to boosting team enthusiasm, loyalty, and retention

This workshop includes an interactive workbook and additional resources for your use and reference after the program concludes.
